The darkness has always been The world was born into a blanket of sin When all the faith's been gone Still we found a reason to carry on
Through the worry, worry, worry Caught in an endless maze Oh, when the lights go out all that I can think about Is how we've seen better days
And lover lately I've been thinking I might leave you As you're surrounded by these fools who do deceive you Yes our past is wretched true but I'm still in love with you And that's why I am still refusing to give in to
All this worry, worry, worry Caught in an endless maze But when the lights go out all that I can think about Is how we've seen better days
Where do we go from here While we're all so consumed by fear? Well, I'm trying not to be suspicious towards, I'm suspicious of I'm trying to crack open this angry heart and find a little love
Still I worry, worry, worry Caught in an endless maze When the lights go out all that I can think about Is how we've seen better days Yeah, when the lights go out all that I can dream about Is how, we've seen better days

Not Another Soul by Katrina Wendt
Not Another Soul
by Katrina Wendt
Not everyone sees what I see,
But I didn’t realize that you looked different to them,
That maybe it wasn’t so obvious
Like I thought it was.
This confused me
Because I thought I’d have to fight for you
But maybe I discovered my own Narnia;
Hidden, safe from others.
The ground I’m standing on isn’t even
Because I still don’t know what to think of this (of us)
I could ask, but I’ve asked before
Somehow I don’t think it would help.
I look at the moon and the stars and the grass
I smell the night air
And I feel the Universe is at peace.
Telling me don’t hold my breath, have patience.
This in-between step intrigues me
This is all new for me;
The happenings, the feelings, the communication,
And I have a front row seat to how this unfolds.
Would anybody really understand?
We’re just two lovers,
Trapped by our lives,
Waiting for that break in time.
I freeze
When I want to talk to you.
My heart pounds
When I think of you.
I care so deeply for you
More than I thought was possible without love.
My soul… misses you,
Longs for your touch.
Friendship is all you can give
And all I can ask for, for now.
But someday, there will come a day
And then, we’ll be together.

Take What You Want From Me and Be Happy by Katrina Wendt
If I had an inch I'd give you a mile
If you were a frown I'd give you a thousand smiles
I'd give you the world if you asked
But all I want you to have is my heart
I'll write you a song if that's what you want
Then tear it all up if you don't
I'll show you my mind and give you my heart
Just promise you won't rip it apart
I want to know how you are
I want to know your heart and soul
Your voice is a work of art
I wish you could be mine to hold
I never could move on from your eyes
They'd haunt me wherever I go
Quitting isn't always so bad
When giving up on the impossible
Honestly I'd be crazy not to love you
Although the effect seems the same either way
I have dreams of spending forever with you
I wonder if you'd want to stay?

A Clockwork Orange
But, brothers, this biting of their toe-nails over what is the cause of badness is what turns me into a fine laughing malchick. They don't go into the cause of goodness, so why the other shop? If lewdies are good that's because they like it, and I wouldn't ever interfere with their pleasures, and so of the other shop. And I was patronizing the other shop. More, badness is of the self, the one, the you or me on our oddy knockies, and that self is made by old Bog or God and is his great pride and radosty. But the not-self cannot have the bad, meaning they of the government and the judges and the schools cannot allow the bad because they cannot allow the self. And is not our modern history, my brothers, the story of brave malenky selves fighting these big machines? I am serious with you, brothers, over this. But what I do I do because I like to do.

You Are:
You Are:
Sad and sitting
in the rain
scrawling nonsense
on yellowing copy-paper,
marooned
on the islands of self,
staring blindly
out at the world,
as it rockets by
at the speed
of sanity.

Daughter
A daughter is a bundle of firsts that excite and delight
giggles that come from deep inside and are always contagious
everything wonderful and precious and ur love for her knows no bounds.

Charles Manson
“I can't judge any of you. I have no malice against you and no ribbons for you. But I think that it is high time that you all start looking at yourselves, and judging the lie that you live in.”
Charles Manson
If I wanted to kill somebody, I'd take this book and beat you to death with it, and I wouldn't feel a thing.

There's nothing wrong with being incompetent ... it just means you don't have to do as much.

Aristotle
Anybody can become angry - that is easy, but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way - that is not within everybody's power and is not easy.

Nathaniel Hawthorne (1804 - 1864)
What other dungeon is so dark as one's own heart! What jailer so inexorable as one's self!
