while I will agree that growth is inevitable pretty much the rest of that comment is incoherent and contradictory...
to follow blindly is pretty much the opposite of having your eyes wide open....

Let me clarify.

Once your eyes have been opened, then you can follow your FAITH blindly.

Not religion. Never for a second any human organization. Unfortunately, human beings suck and cannot be trusted.
